IT Support Specialist (Laboratory Environment)We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented
IT Support Specialist to support technology within a laboratory setting. In this role, you will ensure scientists and lab staff can effectively utilize specialized equipment and software critical to research operations. This position is ideal for someone who is both technically skilled and highly personable, with the ability to thrive in a collaborative lab environment.
What You'll Do- Provide hands-on IT support for laboratory hardware and software, including installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting
- Support and maintain Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) and other lab-specific applications
- Assist scientists and lab staff with technical issues, delivering clear guidance and timely resolutions
- Monitor system performance and perform routine updates, patching, and preventive maintenance
- Create and maintain documentation for systems, processes, and troubleshooting steps
- Conduct user training to ensure effective use of lab technologies
- Partner with cross-functional teams to improve system performance and user experience
What You Bring- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience in IT support, ideally in a laboratory, research, or regulated environment
- Familiarity with LIMS (Laboratory Information Management Systems)
- Understanding of GxP environments and compliance requirements
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to support non-technical users
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $45.00/hr.
