Job Title: Senior Front-End Developer

Location: Phoenix, AZ (Hybrid)
Duration: 6 Months

Position Overview

A public-sector organization is undertaking a major modernization initiative involving multiple legacy applications that support critical civic operations. The Senior Front-End Developer will play a key role in modernizing these applications by building intuitive, responsive, and high-performing user interfaces.

This role will collaborate closely with an experienced front-end developer and a UI/UX designer to deliver a modern, accessible, and user-friendly web application.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain modern, responsive front-end applications using React and TypeScript

• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate designs into high-quality user interfaces

• Integrate front-end components with RESTful APIs and manage application data flow

• Implement state management solutions using libraries such as Zustand or the React Context API

• Ensure clean, maintainable code following version control and Git best practices

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to front-end architecture decisions

• Support modernization efforts across multiple legacy systems

Required Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3

• Experience with state management libraries such as Zustand or React Context API

• Solid understanding of Git and version control best practices

• Experience integrating front-end applications with RESTful APIs

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with the Mantine component library

• Familiarity with public-sector or civic-focused applications

• Exposure to accessibility standards and responsive design best practices
