Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Product Owner / Project Owner with strong Healthcare Plan domain expertise to support a healthcare project. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in business analysis, Agile methodologies, and stakeholder management, with the ability to translate business needs into clear functional requirements and drive successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
  • Act as the Product Owner, managing and prioritizing the product backlog.
  • Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications and user stories.
  • Work closely with Agile/Scrum teams to ensure timely delivery of business solutions.
  • Perform requirement mapping, gap analysis, and impact assessments.
  • Facilitate sprint planning, backlog refinement, and requirement clarification sessions.
  • Ensure alignment between business objectives and technical implementation.
  • Support UAT, requirement validation, and project delivery activities.
  • Maintain project documentation and communicate progress to stakeholders.
Required Skills & Qualifications
  • 4+ years of overall IT experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Product Owner, Project Owner, or Business Analyst in the Healthcare Plan domain.
  • Strong experience gathering, analyzing, and documenting business requirements.
  • Hands-on experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Expertise in creating user stories, acceptance criteria, and maintaining product backlogs.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience with requirement mapping and supporting end-to-end project delivery.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with healthcare payer/health plan systems and processes.
  • Knowledge of healthcare business workflows and plan operations.
  • Agile/Scrum certification is a plus.
