1st Shift | $30 - $35 per hour


Position Overview


The Electrical Technician Engineer is responsible for the layout, wiring, implementation, and testing of electrical systems for all manufactured products. This position works closely with the manufacturing team to build and commission advanced furnace equipment while ensuring compliance with UL, CE, and ISO 9001 standards.


Key Responsibilities


  • Design, assemble, and test electrical systems, including high and low voltage wiring, schematic layouts, drive systems, temperature controllers, and PNID loops.

  • Troubleshoot and maintain electrical control systems, including PLCs, controllers, and VFDs.

  • Wire and install electrical systems in compliance with UL and CE regulations.

  • Interpret and work from electrical schematics and blueprints.

  • Fabricate and install components according to CAD engineering drawings.

  • Support the commissioning and startup of equipment at customer facilities, both domestically and internationally.

  • Provide feedback and recommendations to the Engineering Department to improve product performance and design.

  • Perform additional duties as assigned.


Education and Experience


  • High school diploma or GED required; technical trade school or college degree preferred.

  • 5 years of hands-on experience with electrical systems or industrial equipment.

  • Experience with gas burner systems or HVAC equipment is highly desirable.

  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record required.

  • Experience operating forklifts, scissor lifts, and other shop equipment is a plus.


Required Skills and Abilities


  • Strong knowledge of 3-phase, single-phase, AC/DC circuits, 4-20mA, and 0-10V control loops.

  • Basic understanding of PLC programming and industrial automation systems.

  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

  • Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Teams).

  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for field service and commissioning work.


Physical Requirements


  • Ability to lift up to 45 pounds and perform physical activities such as standing, kneeling, climbing, or crawling.

  • Strong dexterity, stamina, and vision (including color and depth perception).

  • Comfortable working in manufacturing and field environments.
