The primary purpose of this position is to support a larger-scale data migration initiative across multiple business divisions. This role is highly collaborative and communication-driven, requiring close engagement with business units to document existing data, define future-state requirements, coordinate change readiness, deliver effective end-user training and user adoption following migration. This position will work closely with IT Engineering team to gain an in-depth understanding of migration, process, services, and post migration user engagement, and the context in which the business unit operates.

Responsibilities

This is not intended to be an all-inclusive list of job duties, and the position will perform other duties as assigned.

Support the Migration Project by completing and updating project documentation, coordinating communication between divisions and lines of business, adjusting schedules as necessary, setting daily priorities, and ensuring efficient and timely delivery of project tasks and milestones. Follow appropriate escalation procedures and manage both customer and supplier relationships.

Lead communications with stakeholders from divisions and lines of business throughout the migration lifecycle.

Conduct discovery sessions to document current file structures, permissions, ownership, and workflows.

Maintain comprehensive stakeholder lists, points of contact (POCs), and readiness tracking documentation.

Provide regular status reports and risk updates to the Engineering team.

Develop user guides, FAQs, and training materials for the new SharePoint and Teams structure.

Analyze and design process flows related to operational procedures and systems, identifying key decision points and opportunities for improvement, re-engineering, or elimination.

Occasionally support late-night production deployments for validation.

Conduct demonstrations and presentations for stakeholders and assist with business development initiatives.

Serve as an effective liaison between users and the engineering team.

Manage pre-migration and/or post-migration presentations as well as user acceptance testing or coordination for changes impacting assigned stakeholders.

Document new platform issues, ensure robust solutions are implemented, and communicate updates to affected users.

Collaborate with business users and IT teams of diverse backgrounds to deliver solutions that meet business requirements while aligning with strategic direction.

Engage in ongoing research, training, and other activities to stay informed about the latest industry trends and best practices.

Develop proofs of concept to effectively demonstrate potential or proposed solutions to both business stakeholders and IT review boards, ensuring alignment with organizational vision and immediate business objectives.

Qualifications

Equivalent combination of education and experience is considered.

• Bachelor's degree in business, Computer Science or a related field is required.
• Minimum of three (3) years of experience performing business analysis, working with large amounts of complex data, and developing workflows.
• Experience with Microsoft Teams and SharePoint.
• Experience working for a financial organization or other highly regulated sector.
• Agile/Scrum background preferred.
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, any project management tool: MS Project, Smartsheet, etc.
• Experience with eliciting and documenting both functional and non-functional technical requirements in financial services setting is preferred.
• Experience gathering technical and business requirements and documenting User Stories in Jira.
• Proficient in Salesforce functions to include reporting, dashboards, and workflows.
