Description:
Searching for a Financial Domain Lead who will leverage their strong financial knowledge to be the bridge between Finance, IT and business teams to implement application enhancements. The ideal candidate will have experience with financial systems for hospitals or health insurance companies and be familiar with concepts and processes from both the healthcare and software industries.
Responsibilities:
Manage client relationships for the Financial domain.
Represent the organization to external entities such as client IT and business representatives, as well as partner vendor representatives.
Collaborate with internal business teams to drive financially compliant system modifications.
Reduce client-reported financial defects through domain expertise and differentiate between defects and enhancements.
Act as Financial system subject matter expert and collaborate with teams on estimates, requirements, and potential impacts to business processes.
Requirements:
Experience in the Medicaid industry, with specific expertise in financial operations and system implementation.
Advanced knowledge of Fund Code Allocation and QNXT/Flexi.
Experience translating financial concepts for non-financial stakeholders.
Advanced knowledge of Financial Payment Processing, Claims Payment processing, and General Accounting principles. Experience with CMS federal auditing and financial reporting.
Recommended Additional Skills/Experience:
Bachelor''s degree in Finance, Accounting or IT-related field.
5+ years'' experience in in financial management and accounting.
Experience collaborating with remote teams.
Strong analytical thinking, and excellent verbal/written communication.
