Reporting & Analytics Consultant
Location: Hartford, CT (Hybrid)

The Hartford’s Strategic Sourcing & Real Estate (SSRE) Center of Excellence is seeking a Reporting & Analytics Consultant to support procurement and corporate services reporting. The role focuses on operational and financial reporting, Tableau reporting maintenance, and spend analytics supporting programs such as vendor rebates, fleet reporting, corporate aircraft usage, and sourcing savings.
Key Responsibilities:
Produce recurring operational and financial reports for the sourcing organization
Refresh and maintain Tableau dashboards and reporting outputs
Perform data analysis, reconciliations, and variance checks to ensure reporting accuracy
Administer the Wave savings tracking tool used to track procurement savings
Analyze spend data and help identify trends, forecasts, and insights for leadership
Document reporting processes and create SOPs
Required Skills:
Advanced Excel (5+ years) – pivots, lookups, financial analysis
Tableau (2–5 years) – refreshing and maintaining dashboards/reports
5+ years analytics/reporting experience with financial or operational data
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Experience working with relational data/reporting datasets
Insurance or financial services experience
Preferred Skills:
SQL or Python for querying/reporting
Procurement or spend tools such as Coupa, Ariba, SAP, or Workday
Data lake reporting experience
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, or related field.
