Description: About the Role This role focuses on designing, implementing, testing, and maintaining system-level and subsystem-level test solutions. The engineer will translate technical and customer requirements into effective test programs, ensuring system performance through integration, validation, and regression testing. The position offers diverse technical challenges across RF, analog, digital, electronic warfare, electro-optics, and communication technologies.
Key Responsibilities - Develop test programs for automated test systems such as LM-STAR, LM-CORE, and eCASS.
- Lead a team of Test Program Set (TPS) developers.
- Collaborate with hardware, software, and systems engineering teams to support integration activities.
- Define functional and technical specifications, input/output parameters, and interface requirements.
- Create and execute test procedures for systems and subsystems.
- Perform hardware/software integration and resolve interface issues.
- Review and develop requirements with an emphasis on testability.
- Analyze test results and prepare subsystem or system-level evaluation reports.
- Document discrepancies and perform regression testing to validate incorporated fixes.
- Utilize standard electronic test equipment for troubleshooting and validation.
Qualifications - 4-6 years of experience in electronic assembly and electrical testing.
- 4-6 years in software design and development.
- 4-6 years in testing and development.
- 4-6 years of experience in requirements development.
- 4-6 years in software testing or fault insertion.
- Experience in system integration (2-4 years).
- Ability to develop test programs using PAWS ATLAS or NI TestStand and LabWindows CVI.
- Hands-on experience with standard electronics lab equipment.
- Proven hardware/software integration skills.
- Demonstrated project or technical leadership experience.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications - 2-4 years of experience in test equipment design.
- Exposure to RF, analog, digital, EW, EO, or communication technologies.
