Office Location – Chicago or Michigan

1. Location - Moving to Chicago area is preferred. If can’t move to Chicago but can work in the CST time zone
2. Travel will be required minimum once a month.

We are looking for a highly skilled Data Architect with strong Presales expertise. The ideal candidate must come from the FMCG domain, specifically Food & Beverages.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in data, analytics, or cloud architecture roles, with a strong emphasis on customer-facing or presales responsibilities.
• Proven experience designing data and analytics solutions using AWS services such as S3, Glue, Lambda, Step Functions, Redshift, and IAM.
• Strong expertise with Snowflake, including data architecture, warehouse design, performance optimization, and cost governance.
• Solid experience with dbt, including data modeling concepts, transformation frameworks, and deployment approaches.
• Strong understanding of modern data architectures, ELT patterns, and data modeling techniques.
• Ability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience supporting presales activities such as technical discovery, solution design, RFP/RFI responses, and proposal development.
• Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance best practices, including role-based access control and data protection.
