Summary:
Seeking a Platform Software Engineer to develop APIs, automation, and developer tooling for cloud-native platforms, with a focus on software engineering best practices, reliability, and developer experience.

< data-start="281" data-end="306">Key Responsibilities

Design and develop secure, scalable APIs and platform services.
Build developer tools, CLIs, automation, and self-service solutions.
Implement CI/CD, testing, code reviews, and deployment best practices.
Enhance observability through logging, metrics, tracing, and alerting.
Support platform reliability, incident response, and continuous improvement.
Collaborate on authentication, authorization, security, and API governance standards.

< data-start="758" data-end="786">Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of IT experience and 4+ years in software development.
Strong experience building and operating production APIs and services.
Proficiency in Python, Go, Java, C#, or TypeScript.
Experience with REST APIs, API lifecycle management, and automated testing.
Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Linux, CI/CD, and cloud platforms (Google Cloud Platform preferred).
Experience developing Python automation and Go-based tooling.
Strong troubleshooting skills using logs, metrics, and tracing.

< data-start="1310" data-end="1339">Preferred Qualifications

Experience with platform engineering and developer experience initiatives.
Knowledge of event-driven architectures, OAuth/OIDC, SLOs, and reliability practices.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code, Tekton CI/CD, and React-based internal tools.
