Sr Software Engineer

Were looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our healthcare-relatedclientin a hybrid-schedule role based in Pittsburgh, PA.

This is a strong opportunity for an engineer who has actually owned production flat-file integrationsnot just general ETL or backend development. The work includes both ingesting external partner files into internal systems and generating outbound files that must meet exact partner specifications.

The core stack is C#, T-SQL andSSIS.We need someone who can build and support reliable file-processing solutions, strengthen validation and reconciliation, improve monitoring and failure recovery, and establish repeatable testing across dev/test/staging before changes reach production.

Just as important, this person will help evaluate how the current processes should evolve. Were looking for practical modernization ideaspotentially involving Azure Data Factory or other toolsfrom someone who understands that modernization begins with business requirements, reliability, testability, and risk.

Strong candidates will bring:

7+ years of related software-engineering experience

Hands-on production SSIS development

Strong T-SQL and C# development

Direct experience with inbound and/or outbound flat-file integrations

Full-SDLC, lower-environment, testing, and deployment discipline

Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills

Experience with healthcare or another regulated industry, SFTP/PGP, HIPAA, Azure Data Factory, and Azure DevOps is a plus.
