Job Description
Strong experience with Java, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and microservices.
Expertise in REST APIs, object-oriented programming, design patterns, multithreading, and asynchronous processing.
Experience with SQL Server/PostgreSQL, JSON, XML, WebSockets, and third-party API integrations.
Hands-on experience with Azure App Service, Azure Functions, Azure Container Apps, Azure SQL, Azure Storage, Key Vault, and Azure Monitor.
Knowledge of Azure networking, API Management, Entra ID, and Application Insights.
Experience with Git, GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions, Maven/Gradle, and Docker.
Strong troubleshooting, performance optimization, automated testing, and production support skills.
Azure, Java, or cloud technology certification is required.
Experience in transit, transportation, public-sector, or government projects.
Basic knowledge of OpenTripPlanner (OTP), GTFS, and GTFS-Realtime.
Understanding of cloud security, high availability, disaster recovery, and cost optimization.
Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based cloud applications.
Build REST APIs, microservices, and enterprise system integrations.
Deploy and support applications on Microsoft Azure.
Maintain CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and release management.
Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance.
Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and technical teams.
Support real-time data integrations and transit-related applications.
