SR. MLOps Engineer (AWS / Snowflake)

Location: Houston, TX (Onsite Mon–Thurs)
 

We are seeking a hands-on MLOps Engineer to deploy, integrate, and monitor machine learning models in a production AWS environment.

This role is focused on operationalizing models — not building computer vision or generative AI models from scratch. You will work closely with data scientists to deploy trained models, integrate them with Snowflake, and build scalable CI/CD pipelines within AWS.

Key Responsibilities

•          Deploy trained machine learning models into AWS production environments

•          Use AWS CDK to provision infrastructure as code

•          Build and deploy AWS Lambda functions to support model inference workflows

•          Integrate ML models with Snowflake, including reading and writing data

•          Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines within AWS

•          Monitor model performance and application logs using AWS tools

•          Collaborate with Data Science and Engineering teams to productionize ML solutions

•          Support integrations with AWS Bedrock when required

Required Skills

•          Strong experience with AWS, including Lambda and cloud-based deployments

•          Experience using AWS CDK (Infrastructure as Code)

•          Experience building CI/CD pipelines in AWS (CodePipeline, CodeBuild, or similar)

•          Experience integrating applications or models with Snowflake

•          Experience deploying machine learning models into production

•          Understanding of ML inference workflows

Nice to Have

•          Experience with Snowflake functions, UDFs, or Snowpark

•          Experience integrating with AWS Bedrock

•          Docker or containerization experience

•          Model monitoring or performance tracking experience

•          Not a model development or research role

•          Not a computer vision or LLM engineering role

•          Not a BI or analytics role

This is a production-focused ML deployment role.

Ideal Candidate

•          5+ years of experience in  MLOps

•          Strong AWS Lambda cloud experience

•          Comfortable owning deployments from development through production

•          Strong collaboration and communication skills
