Job Title: IT Low-Code / No-Code (LC/NC) Application Developer/Tester

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Duration: Contract (Approx. 3 months with possible extension)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a contract IT Low-Code / No-Code (LC/NC) Application Developer/Tester with experience in Mendix to support a fast-paced, high-visibility application development initiative. The ideal candidate will leverage the Mendix platform to rapidly deliver secure, scalable, and user-centric solutions within a time-critical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Business Analysts to gather requirements, design systems, and support application development, testing, and implementation using the Mendix platform
• Participate in design sessions to enhance operational systems, business processes, and reporting capabilities
• Analyze and document current-state business processes, including workflows and procedures
• Develop future-state process documentation, including:
• Business rules
• Process flow diagrams
• Cross-functional workflows
• Configure and develop Mendix applications, including:
• Microflows and nanoflows
• Domain models
• UI components and pages
• Integrations and data sources
• Prepare and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) test cases; coordinate with stakeholders during UAT cycles
• Perform data validation and quality assurance within applications
• Support pre-go-live testing and quickly address issues as they arise
• Participate in regular status meetings with stakeholders and project teams
• Create and maintain documentation for development, implementation, and transition phases
• Communicate progress, risks, and dependencies to the Scrum Master/Project Manager
• Troubleshoot application issues and assist with defect resolution
• Perform additional duties as needed

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

• Hands-on experience with Low-Code/No-Code platforms, preferably Mendix
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments with end-to-end application development
• Familiarity with JIRA for backlog management, sprint planning, and defect tracking
• Experience working within cross-functional Scrum teams
• Proficiency in SQL Server for querying, reporting, and troubleshooting
• Understanding of PCI (Payment Card Industry) compliance standards
• Experience with automated testing tools and best practices
• Strong documentation, communication, and collaboration skills
• Ability to work effectively in time-sensitive, high-visibility environments
