Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of hands-on experience in Pega development, with 10+ years preferred/required for this position.
• Strong proficiency in Pega Case Management, Data Modeling, UI Development, Decisioning, and Integrations.
• Experience with Pega Infinity 8.x or later, with familiarity with App Studio and Dev Studio.
• Solid understanding of Pega architecture, Enterprise Class Structure (ECS), Rulesets, and Guardrails.
• Knowledge of Java fundamentals, SQL, XML/JSON, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment and collaborate effectively with distributed teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Pega Certified System Architect (CSA/CPSA) – mandatory in most cases; CSSA highly preferred.
• Healthcare/Payer domain experience, including claims processing, member management, and provider workflows.
• Experience with Pega Decisioning/CDH, Constellation UI, or Pega Cloud.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps practices, and performance monitoring tools.
• Knowledge of HIPAA, security best practices, and enterprise integration patterns.
• Prior healthcare industry experience is a strong plus.
