Supply Chain & Operations System Architect (JD Edwards Focus)
Location: Remote (US & Canada Eligible)
Travel: ~25% (Monthly travel to Teaneck, NJ, and occasional other sites)

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Supply Chain & Operations System Architect to serve as the right-hand partner to the Business Relationship Manager (BRM), supporting multiple enterprise supply chain initiatives.
This role bridges business strategy and technical execution, ensuring scalable, secure, and efficient systems that support global supply chain operations including procurement, logistics, inventory, manufacturing, quality, and regulatory processes.
The ideal candidate brings strong JD Edwards expertise, deep supply chain experience, and the ability to review and design enterprise solutions from an architectural perspective (not a hands-on developer role).
Project Scope & Responsibilities
This role will be tied to multiple concurrent supply chain initiatives and transformation programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the architectural lead across multiple supply chain projects, partnering closely with the BRM.
- Define and document end-to-end architecture for supply chain and operations systems.
- Lead ERP architecture and integration strategy (with emphasis on JD Edwards; familiarity with SAP, Oracle Fusion, EBS, Dynamics 365 F&O is beneficial).
- Design and review workflows for:
- Demand planning
- Order management
- Warehouse operations
- Procurement
- Inventory management
- Logistics & transportation
- Architect inbound and outbound integrations with CRM, finance, analytics, and third-party systems.
- Review technical designs and solution proposals to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
- Provide architectural oversight for upgrades, migrations, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Author and review:
- Business Requirements Documents (BRD)
- Functional Specifications (FSD)
- Technical Specifications (TSD)
- Maintain documentation for architecture decisions, integration patterns, and KPIs.
- Ensure compliance with security, scalability, performance, and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate across global teams, time zones, and business units.
Technical Requirements
Must-Have Skills
- JD Edwards (JDE) strong expertise
- Deep Supply Chain functional experience
- 10+ years in solution architecture / ERP consulting roles
- Ability to read, review, and validate technical designs (not a hands-on developer role)
- Experience working across enterprise-level supply chain transformations
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Strong cross-functional communication skills
- Experience working across different time zones and cultures
- Spanish and/or Portuguese language skills
- Exposure to supply chain visibility tools, analytics, and AI-enabled tracking
Technology Environment

- Cloud Platforms: Microsoft Azure, AWS
- Integration: APIs, Middleware, Enterprise Integration Frameworks
- Analytics & Reporting: Power BI, Advanced Analytics platforms
- Third-Party Integrations: Quality systems, transportation systems, regulatory platforms, planning & forecasting tools
- Exposure to LIMS, Quality Management Systems, and Regulatory Compliance platforms preferred

- Strong understanding of supply chain processes including procurement, logistics, inventory, and manufacturing
- Experience with Azure, Power Platform, and enterprise integration patterns
