Qlik Sense Developer

Description & Requirements

The Data Management and Analytics Platform (DMAP) team is looking for a Qlik Sense Developer (Contract) to support our Corporate Philanthropy analytics initiatives. Our team is responsible for delivering high-quality data and insights that power reporting, dashboards, and decision-making across company. In this role, you will focus on building impactful visualizations that help track and enhance our philanthropic efforts.

• You will work closely with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs and key metrics related to corporate philanthropy programs
• You will design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and applications using Qlik Sense
• You will develop and optimize data models to support scalable and high-performing analytics
• You will write and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and prepare data for reporting
• You will ensure data accuracy, consistency, and usability across dashboards and reporting solutions
• You will translate complex datasets into clear, actionable insights through effective visualization design
• You will document dashboards, data models, and best practices to support ongoing usage and self-service analytics
• You will identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency and streamline data workflows
• You will be working with structured datasets from multiple internal and external data sources

You will need to have:

• 5+ years of experience developing dashboards and applications using Qlik Sense
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases
• Strong understanding of Business Intelligence principles and data visualization best practices
• Experience with data modeling concepts including star schema and data relationships
• Ability to translate business requirements into effective analytics and reporting solutions
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Experience working closely with business users to gather requirements and deliver insightsBA, BS, MS, PhD in Computer Science, Engineering or related technology field
• BA, BS, MS, PhD in Computer Science, Engineering or related technology field

Nice to Have:

• Experience working with corporate philanthropy, ESG, or nonprofit data
• Familiarity with data warehousing and ETL processes
• Experience integrating data from multiple sources
• Experience with other BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI
