Summary

Overview

Our client is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to support a large enterprise environment consisting of Microsoft technologies, virtualization platforms, networking infrastructure, cybersecurity tools, backup solutions, and collaboration platforms.

This organization manages a large, complex public-sector environment supporting multiple locations, business units, and end users. The role is responsible for maintaining highly available infrastructure, strengthening security posture, supporting enterprise operations, and driving automation and continuous improvement initiatives.

Experience

  • 4+ years Systems and Network administration experience

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field OR
  • Four (4) additional years of qualifying experience beyond the minimum experience requirement in lieu of a degree

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and support Windows Server, Active Directory, Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Teams, and SharePoint environments
  • Support enterprise infrastructure across physical, virtual, and cloud-connected systems
  • Manage VMware and Hyper-V environments
  • Configure and support Cisco Meraki firewalls, switches, wireless infrastructure, and VPN connectivity
  • Troubleshoot DNS, DHCP, routing, switching, and network connectivity issues
  • Monitor infrastructure performance, availability, and security
  • Administer security tools including CrowdStrike, Nessus, and Splunk
  • Support vulnerability management and remediation efforts
  • Manage enterprise backup and recovery operations using Rubrik
  • Develop PowerShell scripts and automation solutions
  • Perform root cause analysis and recommend long-term infrastructure improvements
  • Create SOPs, technical documentation, and knowledge articles
  • Provide Tier III support for escalated infrastructure, networking, and security issues

This is a Contract position based out of Monterey Park, CA.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80.00 - $95.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
