Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and coordinate technology projects of varying complexity within an enterprise IT environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing projects across the Project Management Life Cycle and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) while collaborating with cross-functional teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.

This role requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to ensure successful project delivery, risk mitigation, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate small, medium, and large projects with moderate to high complexity and risk.
• Oversee project activities across the Project Management and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Collaborate with business leads, vendor project managers, analysts, and subject matter experts.
• Manage project execution according to statements of work (SOWs), vendor agreements, and governance guidelines.
• Develop and maintain project management artifacts including project plans, scope management, risk management, communication plans, and change control documentation.
• Track project performance and report status updates, risks, issues, and milestones to leadership.
• Facilitate project status meetings and stakeholder communications.
• Manage scope changes and ensure deliverables align with project objectives.
• Conduct post-implementation reviews and lessons learned sessions.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• PMP Certification (Required) - certification must be provided.
• 7+ years of experience managing projects with moderate to high complexity within the past 10 years.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience with:
  • Microsoft Project
  • Microsoft Visio
  • SharePoint 2013
  • Microsoft Office 365
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to executive leadership.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.

Highly Desired Skills

• Experience managing vendor-led or vendor-managed projects.
• Experience working within public sector or government IT environments.
• Experience working in outsourced or multi-vendor environments.

Additional Information

• Hybrid work schedule in Atlanta, GA.
• Candidates must be comfortable working with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
• Strong project governance, reporting, and risk management experience is preferred.
