Overview
We're seeking a skilled Azure DevOps Engineer to join our engineering team and help drive the design, implementation, and optimization of our cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in automation, cloud-native architectures, and collaborative engineering environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps (Repos, Pipelines, Artifacts).
- Manage and optimize Azure cloud infrastructure, including compute, networking, storage, and security services.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform.
- Monitor system performance and reliability using Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights.
- Collaborate with development teams to streamline build, test, and deployment processes.
- Automate operational tasks and improve system scalability and resilience.
- Ensure security best practices across cloud resources, pipelines, and deployments.
- Troubleshoot production issues and participate in on-call rotations as needed.
- Contribute to DevOps culture by promoting automation, observability, and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (Pipelines, Repos, Boards, Artifacts).
- Strong understanding of Azure services such as AKS, App Services, Functions, VMs, VNets, Key Vault, and Storage Accounts.
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Bicep, or ARM).
- Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, or Python).
- Familiarity with Git and branching strategies.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools in Azure.
- Understanding of networking concepts (DNS, load balancers, firewalls, VPNs).
Preferred Qualifications
- Azure certifications (AZ 104, AZ 400, or similar).
- Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
- Knowledge of security frameworks and DevSecOps practices.
- Background in microservices architecture and distributed systems.
