Our client is an operating company under the Exelon umbrella that is a top power distribution provider in the East Coast/Mid Atlantic markets. Just like most Energy Companies, They are constantly upgrading their distribution networks for initiatives such as Grid Modernization, Advanced Meter Infrastructure, Distribution Automation, etc. With these and other consistent initiatives occurring, The Smart Meter Technology (SMT) team is in need of a project manager to support the standardization of processes associated to the various phases of operational technology deployments.
We are currently working through the Sanitization phase of their OTSGP compliance roadmap. The team's immediate need is for a resource to help with project management, process development and writing, and job aid and training development. The purpose of the Sanitization effort is to provide oversight and process creation support as it relates to devices/technologies that are being installed on or removed from the distribution network. For example, if devices are taken off the network and not decommissioned and disposed of properly, they run the risk of that device falling into the wrong hands and the integrity of the network is at risk. Their initial focus will be on finalizing document that is capturing how BGE manages the inventory, tracking, and sanitization of critical network equipment.. Other workstreams consist of end user handheld device management, and creation of scope for RFPs on equipment returned from vendors.
The majority of the work will be created in Microsoft Suite and the resource may also be asked to assist in rolling out the new documents, job aids, and trainings to field employees. In addition, this resource will also have High Level PM duties not limited to tracking/reporting specific milestones, providing database updates, identifying and evaluating metrics, making sure that individual task are maintained to a project schedule, etc.

- Need to be self motivated, and have consistent follow up with various teams to ensure action items are completed.
Experience with inventory management, diverse deployments, working with multiple teams in managing, monitoring, and maintaining equipment, etc....
The ideal PM should not only drive schedules and report metrics but also support execution, including drafting communications and high-level training documents, with a 20-30% execution component.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $70.00/hr.
