Job Description
Needs a Tableau Someone to run the server environment, but would love to have some architecture and development familiarity.

- Tableau Administration-experience managing the server environment
- Linux- extremely strong
- Strong written and verbal comm skills
Role Responsibilities
The position would include: new user ticketing, troubleshooting user and server issues, adherence to maintenance and patching schedules, assistance with keeping our environment performing at its highest capability, and ad hoc tasks as they come about.
Experienced required:
· Designed and executed full migration lifecycle including environment planning, topology design, performance tuning, and user migration
· Optimized infrastructure with EC2 clustering and Elastic Load Balancer integration for high availability and fault tolerance
· Automated firewall configurations via Jenkins (JSON scripts) and implemented disaster recovery strategies
· Managed Tableau admin operations: license governance, user provisioning, API-based cleanup, and extract schedule management
· Integrated Tableau with Snowflake, Athena, Alteryx, and other cloud-based and on-prem sources for seamless data access
· Built automation for backups using Ansible and Bitbucket pipelines
· Enabled secure, governed access with role-based permissions, custom admin views, and API-based automation
· Supported Tableau extensions, and custom connectors to extend analytical capabilities
