We have an immediate opportunity for a eMail AI Automation Engineer the focus is on designing and delivering a cloud-agnostic, high-throughput intelligent email automation platform that integrates seamlessly with modern contact center ecosystems such as Genesys and Amazon Connect. The role goes beyond traditional infrastructure engineering, emphasizing deep ownership of email architecture-covering SMTP, IMAP, MIME parsing, and header/body intelligence-to enable advanced capabilities like Auto-Ack suppression, intelligent routing, and automated PII/PHI scrubbing. The engineer architects resilient, horizontally scalable systems capable of handling massive concurrency across unlimited agent groups, ensuring low latency and high reliability for asynchronous communication at a global scale.

The core skill set combines advanced email systems expertise (including Microsoft Exchange integration and enterprise mail flow design) with AI-driven automation powered by large language models. Leveraging LLMs for contextual email analysis, classification, and decisioning is central-enabling semantic understanding beyond rule-based systems. On the platform side, experience with Amazon Web Services is applied selectively-not as a generic cloud engineer, but to support scalable messaging pipelines, event-driven processing, and secure data handling. Containerized architectures using Kubernetes and Docker ensure portability and infrastructure independence, while the overall design prioritizes extensibility, compliance, and performance to replace legacy email handling systems with a modern, intelligent automation engine.
