Location/Remote: Hybrid Remote in Greenwood Village, CO 80111 (4 days onsite/week)
Employment Type: 12+ month W-2 contract (eligible for extensions)
Compensation: Up to $70/hour W-2 or $78/hour C2C (independent consultants only)

This role focuses on manual software testing to validate APIs, microservices, and frontend applications while collaborating with developers to ensure high-quality code. This position offers the opportunity to grow into Java-based automation testing over time.
Responsibilities:
- Perform manual testing of backend services and frontend applications.
- Validate REST APIs and microservices integrations.
- Execute and maintain test cases and test plans.
- Identify defects and collaborate with developers to resolve issues.
- Maintain test documentation and quality tracking.
- Support testing across cloud initiatives.
Required Skills:
- Strong experience with manual software testing.
- Experience testing APIs and frontend applications.
- Familiarity with QMetry or TestRail.
- Highly detail-oriented with strong defect identification skills.
- Experience working in Agile development environments.
Preferred Skills:
- Java-based test automation.
- Selenium / Selenium WebDriver for UI automation.
- JUnit or TestNG testing frameworks.
- REST API automation using tools such as RestAssured.
- Experience building automation frameworks in Java.
- Experience integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
