OverviewPrepare imagery-derived geospatial models and physical terrain products supporting operational planning. Use advanced CAD/AutoCAD techniques to tailor terrain, revise planimetric/topographic features, and operate/maintain 3D printing and laser engraving systems.
- Create imagery-derived 3D models and physical products using CAD/AutoCAD and related tools.
- Digitize/scan/manipulate cultural, topographic, hydrographic, and target features in digital formats.
- Query/evaluate/download digital data to support model production and revisions.
- Administer and perform user-level maintenance on 3D printers/systems (including laser engraving).
- Deliver high-quality products under tight timelines; support shifts/deployments as required.
Requirements Requirements - Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities - High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum eight (8) years progressive experience with 3D modeling design in direct support of an operational element.
- Advanced proficiency with CAD/AutoCAD and imagery-derived terrain/model production.
- Experience with digital feature extraction, planimetric/topographic edits, and data manipulation.
- Experience operating and maintaining 3D printers/systems (including laser engraving).
- Strong attention to detail, quality control mindset, and ability to meet deadlines.
Required Security Clearance - Active TS/SCI required prior to start; must maintain required accesses.
Job Location - North Carolina (NC), United States - on-site at Fort Bragg (Fort Liberty), NC and/or Fayetteville, NC as assigned; deployment support as required.
Physical Requirements Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require typing and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, including but not limited to bending, reaching, and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. May include lifting weight up to 25 pounds as necessary.
