Position Summary
4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Software Developers to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for:
Plan, schedule, and coordinate application releases across development, QA/SIT, UAT, staging, and production environments. Manage release calendars, readiness reviews, go/no-go meetings, deployment runbooks, rollback plans, release notes, and post-deployment validation.
Design, build, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines to validate, test, and deploy application components. Establish branching strategies, pull request standards, repository controls, secure credential management, and automated quality gates to improve deployment consistency.
Manage application environments, configurations, metadata, and integration dependencies. Coordinate deployments across connected applications and services, resolve environment inconsistencies, and troubleshoot deployment conflicts across multiple development teams.
Maintain release documentation, change records, and audit trails in accordance with organizational change management and compliance requirements. Monitor pipeline performance, improve deployment success rates, reduce manual activities, and mentor developers on source control and deployment best practices.
Minimum Qualifications
The position requires:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience:
5+ years of experience in Salesforce release management, DevOps, or deployment engineering, including at least 3 years in a hands-on DevOps or release leadership role. Experience managing enterprise application deployments and integrations across multiple environments is required.
Technical Skills:
Salesforce, MuleSoft, Git, GitHub Actions, CI/CD Pipelines, Salesforce CLI, Anypoint Platform, Maven, Deployment Automation, Bash/Python/PowerShell/Node.js
Business / Domain Skills:
Experience supporting enterprise CRM platforms, customer-facing portals, service applications, and business process automation across multiple organizational environments.
Experience managing Salesforce Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud deployments, including application configurations, user access, workflows, and portal functionality.
Experience designing, developing, enhancing, and integrating enterprise applications, APIs, interfaces, workflows, batch processes, and data-processing components supporting government programs.
Experience coordinating enterprise release cycles, application integration dependencies, change approvals, deployment risks, audit documentation, and production readiness across development, testing, operations, and business teams.
Communication:
Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders.
Documentation:
Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables.
Work Authorization:
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship may be considered where permitted by company policy and project requirements.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Salesforce DevOps tools, application packaging, source-driven development, and automated deployment solutions.
Knowledge of cloud deployment platforms, containerization, infrastructure automation, and automated application testing tools.
Relevant Salesforce, MuleSoft, or GitHub certifications and experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments are beneficial.
