Our capabilities include cyber space operations, cyber defense and resiliency, vulnerability research, ubiquitous technical surveillance, data intelligence, lifecycle mission enablement, and software modernization. Nightwing brings disruptive technologies, agility, and competitive offerings to customers in the intelligence community, defense, civil, and commercial markets.

Nightwing is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Cloud Business Operations Lead to take responsibility for orchestrating technical execution, subcontractor management, financial integration, and client reporting across multi-cloud environments. This role is mission-critical, serving as the bridge between internal teams, subcontractors, and client stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery of program objectives. The ideal candidate is an effective communicator, a meticulous data manager, and thrives in fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environments.

Key Responsibilities
1. Stakeholder & Subcontractor Orchestration
  • Vendor Accountability: Act as the primary point of contact for subcontractors, ensuring accountability for deliverables and workflow optimization across internal and external teams.
  • Performance Auditing: Consolidate, validate, and audit subcontractor data, proactively identifying reporting gaps and ensuring 100% accuracy before submission.
  • Subcontractor Management: Coordinate across multiple vendors to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and deadline adherence while managing interpersonal and team dynamics.
2. Technical Account & Cloud Administration
  • Account Lifecycle Operations: Manage the lifecycle of hundreds of Cloud Service Provider (CSP) accounts, including provisioning, access control, and monitoring usage activity via portals.
  • Multi-Platform Management: Oversee cloud usage across platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and Cloudflare, cross-referencing reports for accuracy with subcontractor and vendor billing.
  • Security Compliance: Maintain a centralized repository for account credentials and program data while ensuring compliance with security protocols and access restrictions.
3. Financial & Contractual Oversight
  • Procurement Management: Collaborate with Finance and Supply Chain teams to track Purchase Orders (POs), Purchase Requisitions (PRs), and vendor payments to ensure the financial health and scalability of the program.
  • Usage Analytics: Assess cloud consumption trends and provide real-time updates on budget burn rates and scaling requirements.
  • Forecasting and Reporting: Develop monthly usage projections, support invoice management, and provide proactive funding recommendations to leadership and financial teams.
4. Executive Reporting & Communication
  • Customer Reporting: Convert raw, inconsistent, or conflicting data into concise, polished, and accurate executive summaries for customers.
  • Leadership Collaboration: Deliver contractually required reports and updates, ensuring leadership has actionable insights to drive program success.

Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience:
Cloud-Based Operations Management:
  • At least 5 years of experience managing cloud-based services or operations, including oversight of multi-cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, and others).
Subcontractor Relationship Management:
  • 5+ years of experience managing subcontractor relationships, ensuring accountability for deliverables, resolving reporting issues, and coordinating workflows.
Data Auditing and Reporting:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in data auditing and generating executive reporting, with the ability to consolidate, validate, and interpret complex data for leadership.
Cloud Service Provisioning:
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience provisioning accounts on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and managing access controls and security in enterprise settings.
Procurement Lifecycle Management:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working with procurement workflows, including purchase orders, requisitions, and vendor payment cycles.
Financial Analysis and Cloud Usage Analytics:
  • At least 3-5 years of experience monitoring cloud consumption trends, forecasting budgets, and advising on funding requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Hands-on expertise in cloud service provisioning, lifecycle management, and multi-factor secure access practices.
  • Strong familiarity with centralized credential management systems for secure storage and sharing.
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and coordinate across subcontractor teams.
  • Relevant certifications are a plus: AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Azure Fundamentals, Google Cloud Certified, or other cloud-related certifications.
