The Work
We are seeking a **DevSecOps Engineer** to drive complex software solutions for Rotary and Mission Systems business area in Moorestown, NJ. Working with only general direction, you will independently define solution approaches, lead design reviews, and ensure software deliverables meet cost, schedule, and technical requirements. Some responsibilities include:
- Lead technical design reviews and validate solutions against requirements.
- Design, develop, and integrate software components
- Collaborate with internal and external customers, cross functional teams, and senior technical leadership to resolve difficult technical issues.
-Perform formal system test methods associated with software requirements verification, software system regression and data analysis

Who You Are
You have the ability to mentor junior engineers and lead small development teams. You have excellent stakeholder communication and presentation skills for inter organizational and customer engagements.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent).
Minimum of 5 years of professional engineering experience
Experience with development of software requirements, requirement verification and working collaboratively with software engineers in the design, development, and test of software
Experience with designing, implementing, testing, and maintaining complex software systems
Ability to obtain & maintain a U.S. DoD security clearance at the Secret level - U.S. Citizenship required

Desired skills

Experience with programming languages such as C++, Java and Python
Experience with Linux/Unix Operating Environment
Experience with Network Topology Configuration, Modeling Tools, Static Code Analysis tools
Excellent written and verbal communication skills that cause successful work in a collaborative and team-based environment

Ability to work remotely

Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

National Pay Statement

The base range for this position in New Jersey is $75,000 - $142,760.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays. The wage range and benefits summary is a general guideline and is governed by the applicable collective bargaining agreement when extending an offer.
