Position: Tech Lead Data Engineer & GenAI Applications
Location: 100% Remote

Technical leadership for building production-grade Generative AI applications in a healthcare/life sciences environment, with deep expertise in LLM integration, agentic architectures, and data engineering pipelines. Designs and implements GenAI solutions on Amazon Bedrock, Agents, and AgentCore for use cases such as scientific literature synthesis, clinical document generation, regulatory submission support, and pharmacovigilance automation.

Activities:

• - Design and build GenAI applications on Bedrock foundation models: RAG architectures, conversational AI, content generation
• - Implement agentic workflows using Bedrock Agents and AgentCore for multi-step task automation (regulatory document review, adverse event processing, literature analysis)
• - Architect data engineering pipelines preparing clinical, genomic, and RWE data for LLM consumption and fine-tuning
• - Design prompt engineering frameworks: templates, chain-of-thought patterns, guardrails with healthcare-specific safety controls
• - Build knowledge base integrations: vector store config, embedding pipelines, chunking strategies, retrieval optimization
• - Implement LLM evaluation frameworks: response quality, hallucination detection, latency benchmarking, cost optimization
• - Design multi-agent orchestration patterns for complex life sciences workflows
• - Establish data quality controls and lineage tracking for AI training/inference data (HIPAA, GxP)
• - Conduct architecture reviews and provide technical guidance on GenAI best practices in regulated environments
• - Coordinate with customer data governance, quality, and security teams
