We are hiring a Blue Yonder WMS Lead / Architect for a hybrid role across any US location. This is a contract opportunity for a senior professional with deep expertise in warehouse management systems and large-scale supply chain transformations.
In this role, you will own and drive the end-to-end architecture for Blue Yonder (JDA) WMS implementations, leading solution design, technical architecture, and integration strategies across complex enterprise environments. You will act as a trusted advisor to business and executive stakeholders, defining scalable, high-performance, and future-ready WMS solutions. The role involves leading global implementations, managing cross-functional onshore/offshore teams, and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
You will be responsible for overseeing MOCA framework customizations, extensions, and ensuring code quality standards. A key part of your role will include architecting integrations with ERP, TMS, OMS, and warehouse automation systems such as WCS and MHE. You will also drive data strategy, performance tuning, and system optimization while leading design workshops, blueprinting sessions, and architecture reviews. Additionally, you will ensure successful cutover planning, go-live execution, and post-production hypercare support, while establishing governance models and technical best practices.
The ideal candidate will have 10 15+ years of experience in Blue Yonder WMS (JDA), with proven expertise as a Solution Architect or Technical Lead on large-scale WMS programs. Strong hands-on experience with MOCA, MSQL, and advanced configurations is essential. You should have deep knowledge of warehouse automation technologies (conveyors, robotics, AS/RS) and strong experience with enterprise integrations including APIs, EDI, microservices, and middleware. Solid database expertise (SQL, data modeling, performance tuning) and experience in global, multi-site rollouts are critical.
Preferred candidates will have experience with Blue Yonder Luminate Platform, Integrator, and Dispatcher, along with exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform. A strong background in Agile, DevOps, and CI/CD practices, along with excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, is highly desired.
