Position: NOC Engineer
Location: Cary, NC
Work Setup: Hybrid

Our Global Customer Operations (GCO) team delivers innovative network solutions and best-in-class service to enterprise and government clients. As a NOC Engineer, you will be the frontline technical expert ensuring secure, reliable network performance while providing an exceptional customer experience.

NOC Engineer Responsibilities
  • Provide advanced technical support for routing, switching, and wireless network issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve incidents within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
  • Maintain and support devices across customer networks.
  • Document all interactions and resolutions using ticketing and case management tools.
  • Escalate complex issues and advocate for customers to ensure timely resolution.
  • Mentor junior team members and promote knowledge sharing.
  • Monitor ticket queues and proactively follow up on open cases.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality for government and legal entity environments.

NOC Engineer Qualifications

Required:
  • 35 years of experience in network support or service desk environments.
  • Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience with networking technologies (routing, switching, wireless).
  • Fluency in English (written and verbal).
  • Ability to obtain Government Confidential Security Clearance.
  • Legal authorization to support servers hosting government and legal entities.
  • Willingness to work in a 24x7 operations environment, including weekends and holidays.

Preferred:
  • Degree in Information Technology (IT) or related field.
  • Cisco certification (CCNA, JNCIA, or similar).
  • Experience with ITIL methodology and incident management frameworks.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems and enterprise support tools.
