Construction Systems Consultant

Description

Robert Half is seeking an Construction Systems Consultant to support a construction organization based in Mukilteo, WA. This role involves assessing current paper-based and spreadsheet-driven workflows and leading the selection, implementation, and training of a project management and estimating system that supports scheduling, change orders, estimating, and project documentation. The position is remote, that is a contract opportunity with potential to extend based on project scope and system rollout. Apply today!

Job Details:

Schedule: 7:00am - 3:00pm (flexible)

Duration: Contract / Project-based

Location: Remote

Job Responsibilities:

• Assess current construction workflows (estimating, scheduling, change orders, field documentation)
• Identify and prioritize system requirements specific to a subcontractor environment
• Evaluate and recommend 1-2 construction PM / estimating platforms (e.g., Procore, Buildertrend, Stack, PlanSwift, Bluebeam)
• Configure and implement the selected system(s)

Design and implement workflows for:

• Change orders
• Scheduling across multiple jobs
• Project photo capture and organization
• Safety documentation
• Train office staff and field superintendents on system usage
• Support adoption until workflows are fully in us

Requirements

Hands-on experience implementing construction PM and/or estimating systems (not just using them)

Background in construction operations, project management, or subcontractor environments

Experience with construction software, such as:

• Procore
• Buildertrend
• Stack Estimating
• PlanSwift
• Bluebeam

Experience training non-technical field teams

Strong understanding of change order workflows and estimating processes
