Job Description

As a Data Scientist, you will shape the future of people-facing and business-facing products across a diverse portfolio of applications. By applying your technical skills, analytical mindset, and product intuition to large-scale datasets, you will help define experiences that serve a global user base and a wide range of businesses.

You will collaborate on a broad set of product and business problems with cross-functional partners across Product, Engineering, Research, Data Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Finance, and other teams. You will use data and analysis to identify and solve key product development challenges, influence product strategy and investment decisions, and focus on driving measurable impact. You will also be part of a strong analytics community committed to continuous learning and career growth.

Product Leadership
You will use data to shape product development, quantify new opportunities, identify emerging challenges, and ensure products deliver value to users and businesses. You will help partner teams prioritize initiatives, set goals, and understand their product ecosystem.

Analytics
You will guide teams using data-driven insights by developing hypotheses and applying a range of analytical methods, methodologies, frameworks, and technical approaches to test them.

Communication and Influence
You will tell compelling, data-driven stories not just present numbers. You will influence stakeholders with clear insights and recommendations, building trust through structure, clarity, and strategic thinking.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with large, complex datasets to solve challenging problems using statistical and analytical techniques

  • Apply quantitative analysis, experimentation, and data mining to inform product strategy

  • Define and measure success through goal setting, forecasting, and monitoring key product metrics

  • Identify opportunities to improve products and drive roadmaps through insights and recommendations

  • Partner closely with Product, Engineering, and cross-functional teams to support execution of product strategy

Must-Have Skills

  • Experience with data querying languages (e.g., SQL)

  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python) and/or statistical tools (e.g., R)

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with advertising or marketing analytics

  • Master s or Ph.D. degree in a quantitative field
