Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced DBA / Data Engineer to lead the migration of data from legacy systems to a new microservice-based System of Record (SOR). The role requires strong expertise in data modeling, ETL processes, and database administration with hands-on experience in Aurora PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Oracle. The ideal candidate will ensure data integrity, scalability, and minimal downtime during migration.

 Key Roles & Responsibilities:

·         Analyze legacy data systems, structures, dependencies, and data quality issues.

·         Design and implement scalable data models aligned with microservices architecture.

·         Plan and execute end-to-end data migration (ETL) strategies.

·         Develop and optimize schemas, queries, and database performance in Aurora PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Oracle DB.

·         Create scripts, stored procedures, and automation tools for migration and validation.

·         Implement data validation, reconciliation, and integrity checks.

·         Collaborate with architects, developers, and business stakeholders to define data requirements.

·         Monitor database performance and ensure high availability during migration.

·         Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and regulatory standards.

·         Provide post-migration support, troubleshooting, and documentation.

 Must have skills:

ETL

Microservices Architecture

Aurora PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Oracle DB.
