Job Summary

Tavant Technologies is seeking a Senior Java Developer with strong hands-on experience in Java 11/17/21, Spring Boot, Microservices, and AWS to design, develop, and maintain highly scalable enterprise applications.

The ideal candidate will have advanced Java 21 development experience, strong AWS expertise, and experience building cloud-native microservices. Candidates with a Media & Entertainment background, along with exposure to solution selling and practice development, are strongly preferred.

The candidate should be comfortable working across application development, API design, cloud deployment, CI/CD, databases, and enterprise architecture.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based microservices using Spring Framework and Spring Boot.
• Develop scalable and high-performance backend applications using Java 11, 17, and especially Java 21.
• Apply advanced Java features and modern software development practices.
• Design and develop RESTful APIs and reusable Java libraries.
• Design and implement scalable cloud-native solutions on AWS.
• Work with AWS services including:
  • EKS
  • DynamoDB
  • S3
  • Lambda
  • IAM
• Deploy and maintain applications on AWS EKS/Kubernetes.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub, Kubernetes, and Spinnaker.
• Work with both NoSQL and relational databases.
• Apply appropriate design patterns and architectural patterns.
• Ensure applications are responsive, scalable, secure, and performant.
• Collaborate with architects, developers, product teams, and customers.
• Participate in technical discussions and solution design.
• Contribute to solution selling, client engagements, and practice development.
• Stay current with developments in Java, cloud technologies, backend architecture, and modern application development.
