Summary
Telemetry Deployment Engineer
Location: Lafayette, IN (Onsite)
Experience Requirement
8–10 years in industrial automation, IIoT, and telemetry roles. Mid-level candidates preferred (not entry-level).
Key Responsibilities
Execute plant-level deployment of telemetry/connected asset solutions
Integrate CNC machines, PLCs, and industrial equipment into telemetry platforms
Configure data acquisition using OPC UA, MQTT, Modbus, Ethernet/IP, MTConnect
Perform connectivity validation and troubleshooting
Perform tag engineering (namespaces, naming, data types, scaling)
Deploy Devicewise/Kepware or similar IIoT platforms
Integrate with Azure IoT Hub, Edge, MQTT pipelines
Coordinate plant readiness and commissioning
Monitor telemetry system performance and resolve issues
Prepare SOPs and documentation
Required Skills & Experience
Strong experience with PLCs (Rockwell, Siemens)
Experience with industrial protocols (OPC UA, Modbus, Ethernet/IP)
Hands-on with Devicewise, Kepware or similar
Experience with Azure IoT (IoT Hub, Edge, MQTT)
Manufacturing/CNC domain experience
Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
