Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Automation Tester to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, API, and mobile applications. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in test automation frameworks, quality assurance methodologies, and CI/CD processes to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
  • Analyze business and technical requirements to create effective test scenarios and test cases.
  • Build and maintain automation frameworks using industry-standard tools.
  • Perform API testing and validate backend services.
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product owners to ensure quality throughout the SDLC.
  • Identify, document, track, and verify software defects.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Generate test execution reports and communicate testing status to stakeholders.
  • Continuously improve test processes, automation coverage, and quality standards.
Required Skills
  • Strong experience in automation testing using Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, or Cypress.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.
  • Hands-on experience with TestNG, JUnit, PyTest, or similar frameworks.
  • Experience in API testing using Postman, Rest Assured, or similar tools.
  • Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI/CD.
  • Experience with version control systems like Git.
  • Good understanding of Agile methodologies and testing best practices.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter.
  • Experience working with databases and SQL queries.
  • Familiarity with containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Relevant certifications such as ISTQB, Selenium, or Agile certifications are preferred.
