Job title: Mainframe CICS Administrator

Location: Chandler, AZ

Duration: Long term

Required Qualifications

·         Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

·         5+ years of experience administering IBM CICS Transaction Server environments.

·         Strong experience with IBM z/OS operating systems.

·         Hands-on experience with CICS installation, configuration, administration, and troubleshooting.

·         Strong knowledge of JCL, TSO/ISPF, SDSF, and JES2/JES3.

·         Experience with IBM RACF, ACF2, or CA Top Secret security administration.

·         Familiarity with IBM DB2, IMS, MQ Series, and VSAM.

·         Experience analyzing dumps, traces, and system logs.

·         Knowledge of SMF reporting and performance monitoring tools.

·         Strong understanding of disaster recovery and high-availability concepts.

·         Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

·         Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Educational Qualifications:

·         Required - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or closely related or equivalent.

·         Preferred - Master’s degree in Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Science, Big Data or Analytics or equivalent.

Travel:

·         Open to travel based-up on the nature of the engagement.
