QA Automation Engineer

Required Skills

• Strong experience in Software Quality Assurance and Test Automation.

• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, or Cypress.

• Strong knowledge of Java, Python, or JavaScript.

• Experience in developing and maintaining automation frameworks.

• Knowledge of Functional, Regression, Integration, and API Testing.

• Experience with REST APIs and tools such as Postman or REST Assured.

• Knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps.

• Experience with Git, Maven, and TestNG/JUnit.

• Knowledge of SQL and database testing.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts.

• Build and enhance automation frameworks.

• Execute automated functional and regression tests.

• Identify, report, and track defects using JIRA or similar tools.

• Integrate automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines.

• Perform API and database testing.

• Analyze test results and troubleshoot automation failures.

• Collaborate with developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders.

• Mentor junior QA engineers and improve testing processes.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Master's degree is preferred.

Certifications

• ISTQB Certified Tester – Foundation Level (CTFL).

• ISTQB Certified Tester – Test Automation Engineer (CTAL-TAE).

• Certified Selenium Automation Tester.

• Relevant Playwright, Cypress, or automation testing certifications are preferred.
