The South Carolina Department of Administration is seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support enterprise application initiatives and Agile transformation efforts. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals local to South Carolina, North Carolina, and Georgia, or candidates willing to relocate to South Carolina.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate Agile Scrum ceremonies including Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, Backlog Refinement, and Retrospectives.
- Remove impediments and help teams achieve sprint goals.
- Coach Agile teams on Scrum best practices and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with Product Owners, stakeholders, and development teams.
- Monitor project progress, risks, dependencies, and KPIs.
- Support hybrid project delivery environments utilizing Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of Scrum Master experience.
- 3+ years of experience leading Scrum ceremonies.
- 3+ years of Azure DevOps experience.
- 3+ years of experience with Agile project management tools.
- Experience working in Hybrid (Agile + Waterfall) environments.
- Experience with database querying and programming.
- Bachelor''s Degree (required).
Preferred Skills
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM).
- Government/Public Sector experience.
- ERP project experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ideal Candidate
- Local to SC, NC, or GA.
- Open to relocation to Columbia, SC.
- Strong Agile facilitator with excellent communication skills.
- Experience supporting enterprise-level application teams.
