Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior ServiceNow Developer to support ongoing platform development, optimization, 
and implementation initiatives within a large enterprise environment. This role requires a hands-on ServiceNow 
professional who can quickly adapt to existing environments, execute backlog items, enhance self-service capabilities, 
and contribute to platform modernization efforts.
The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise across core ServiceNow modules, experience participating 
in full lifecycle implementations, and the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and business 
stakeholders.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Development & Platform Enhancement - Analyze requirements and rapidly contribute to development efforts for 
existing project backlogs. - Design, configure, test, and deploy ServiceNow solutions and enhancements. - Leverage 
Workflow, Flow Designer, and automation capabilities to streamline business processes. - Follow ServiceNow 
development best practices and governance standards.
Service Portal & Catalog Management - Design, develop, and maintain complex Service Catalog items. - Enhance 
Service Portal and Employee Center functionality to improve user experience and self-service adoption. - Optimize 
service request workflows and fulfillment processes.
Knowledge Management - Maintain and enhance Knowledge Base structures. - Establish governance, categorization, 
and usability standards for knowledge articles. - Create and maintain technical and operational documentation within 
ServiceNow.
Implementation & Integration - Participate in full lifecycle ServiceNow implementation and enhancement projects. - 
Gather requirements, perform solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment activities. - Design, develop, and 
support integrations with third-party systems using REST and SOAP APIs. - Assist with platform re-implementation 
and modernization initiatives.
Reporting & Analytics - Develop and maintain ServiceNow reports, dashboards, and performance metrics. - Provide 
actionable insights for business and IT stakeholders through reporting solutions.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience - 3–5+ years of hands-on experience as a ServiceNow Developer and/or Administrator. - Proven experience 
participating in full lifecycle ServiceNow implementations, platform rollouts, module deployments, or system 
migrations.
Core ServiceNow Expertise Strong technical knowledge and implementation experience in: - ITSM (Incident, 
Problem, Change, Knowledge, Request, and Catalog Management) - Customer Service Management (CSM)
Additional Module Experience - Human Resources Service Delivery (HRSD) - Configuration Management Database 
(CMDB)

PROFESSIONAL SKILLS
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. - Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting 
capabilities. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Experience creating technical and operational 
documentation. - Strong customer service and stakeholder management skills. - Ability to perform effectively in fastpaced environments. - Collaborative team player with strong interpersonal skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working in Higher Education environments. - Experience supporting Federal, State, or Local Government 
organizations
