OverviewWe are seeking a
Network Security Engineer with strong expertise in firewall technologies to join a large-scale enterprise environment. This role is focused on
firewall engineering, not firewall policy administration, and requires deep technical knowledge in network security infrastructure.
Minimum Qualifications- Hands-on experience with Palo Alto and/or Fortinet firewalls (required)
- Experience working in a large enterprise environment
- Strong understanding of network protocols and routing concepts
- Proven experience in a firewall engineering role (not limited to policy management)
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with both Palo Alto and Fortinet platforms
- Scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash, or similar) for automation and operational efficiency
- Ability to design, implement, and optimize firewall solutions at scale
Responsibilities- Design, implement, and maintain enterprise firewall solutions
- Engineer and optimize network security infrastructure using Palo Alto and/or Fortinet technologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support and enhance secure network architectures
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex firewall and connectivity issues
- Contribute to automation initiatives through scripting and tooling
