Summary

The Digital Modernization sector within Leidos has an opening for a Scrum Master/Agile Project Manager to support the Compartmented Enterprise Services Office (CESO) effort. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where innovation, collaboration, and growth are at the forefront. You will play a pivotal role in advancing Agile practices and ensuring the successful delivery of solutions to support complex data integration and interoperability efforts across DoD network infrastructures.

This position is 100% on-site in Arlington, VA.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Ensure adherence to the Scrum process; coach the team on self-organization and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives, and backlog refinement, to drive continuous improvement.
  • Scrum Master will help define project scope and schedule while focusing on regular and timely delivery of value; prepare and distribute progress reports; manage risks and issues; correct deviations from plans; and perform delivery planning for assigned projects.
  • Scrum Master will assist in team development while holding teams accountable for their commitments, removing roadblocks to their work; leveraging organizational resources to improve capacity for project work; and mentoring and developing team members.
  • Scrum Master will support managing customer expectations for project deliverables, managing stakeholder communications, and help to implement an effective system of project governance.
  • Support team members to write user stories/epics, identify dependencies, and design optimal solutions
  • Oversee and support the deployment, operation, performance, and security of applications in production.
  • Complete and present project status reports, utilizing Jira metrics and analytics to evaluate team performance.
  • Identify risks and issues proactively, ensuring timely resolution or effective mitigation strategies.
  • Remove impediments and streamline processes to enhance team efficiency and productivity.
  • Represent the team at Scrum of Scrums and to external stakeholders, ensuring alignment and clear communication.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Product Owners, architects, and cross-functional leaders to ensure delivery aligns with strategic goals and objectives.
  • Monitor team performance using Agile metrics (e.g., velocity, burndown charts) and identify areas for improvement.
  • Communicate technical concepts effectively to non-technical stakeholders and provide regular updates on sprint progress, challenges, and delivery timelines.
  • Promote Agile best practices and foster a culture of collaboration and innovation within the team.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for stakeholder inquiries, coordination, and reporting, while being situationally aware and assertive in managing multiple workstreams and project activities

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Candidate must currently have a TS/SCI with the ability to obtain and maintain a CI Poly.
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant technical discipline and 8+ years of related experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives and ensure alignment, visibility, and coordination across teams.
  • Demonstrated Scrum responsibilities experience supporting a Cloud Infrastructure project understanding DevOps workflows, technical components and software development practices.
  • Proven experience as a Scrum Master, facilitating Agile processes and ceremonies.
  • Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and tools like Jira and Confluence.
  • Proven experience resolving conflicts and facilitating effective communication between internal teams and external development partners.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with stakeholders and virtual teams.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience supporting an Agile team tasked with designing, building, configuring, operating, and maintaining an AWS cloud environment, as well as supporting the development, deployment, operation, performance, and security of applications in production.
  • Familiarity with AWS GovCloud, cloud infrastructure, and security policies.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and tools like JIRA and Confluence.
  • Knowledge of DoD network infrastructure, security requirements, and data exchange protocols.
  • Understanding of big data applications and DISA/DoD networks.

Pay Range $92,300.00 - $166,850.00
