What would you do?
Position: Salesforce -Automation Tester
Location: Washington DC, (4 days a week in office)
Scope of Work:
- Develop and execute automated UI tests for Salesforce Lightning Experience (Phoenix).
- Validate migrated data from iDesk using automation and manual verification techniques, applying migration mapping and business rules.
- Use Salesforce-specific tools such as Salesforce Developer Console, Data Loader, SOQL queries, and Workbench for API/data testing.
- Execute functional, regression, integration, and acceptance testing for CRM features and migrated data.
- Utilize GitHub Copilot to accelerate script creation and maintain consistency with coding standards.
- Collaborate with QA Lead, developers, and business analysts to clarify requirements and resolve defects.
- Verify test results after each migration cycle or release deployment.
- Maintain automation code in designated source control repository (e.g., Azure Repos).
- Produce structured test reports and provide recommendations for quality improvements.
SKILLS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- 6+ years in functional and automation testing of enterprise applications.
- Hands-on experience testing Salesforce Lightning Experience and Salesforce Classic UI.
- Proficiency with Playwright, Selenium, or Salesforce-specific automation tools.
- Strong understanding of navigating Salesforce UI, including tabs, layouts, and records.
- Ability to use Salesforce Developer Console for debugging and SOQL query execution.
- Experience validating data migrations using tools such as Salesforce Data Loader, Workbench, or API testing tools (e.g., Postman).
- Experience with Salesforce metadata and configuration validation.
- Knowledge in testing Salesforce integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, etc.).
- Proficiency in AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot for automation script generation.
