Kforce has a client that is seeking a Data Center Industry Consultant in New York, NY.
Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Data Center Industry Consultant to support the development and execution of a go-to-market strategy focused on the rapidly growing data center market. This individual will serve as a trusted advisor and industry expert, helping bridge business strategy with market execution while leveraging industry relationships to drive growth opportunities.
Responsibilities:
* Support the development and execution of data center go-to-market strategies
* Analyze and map product offerings to the data center and thermal management ecosystem
* Identify target market segments, priority accounts, and growth opportunities
* Develop executive-level strategic roadmaps and recommendations
* Facilitate introductions to key stakeholders across the data center industry
* Lead workshops and strategic planning sessions with business and technical teams
* Create account maps, stakeholder engagement plans, and influence models
* Support customer-facing engagements, executive meetings, and industry events
* Develop sales enablement materials, account pursuit strategies, and growth initiatives
* Coordinate meetings, workshops, and project activities across multiple stakeholders
REQUIREMENTS:
* Experience developing market growth strategies, go-to-market plans, or business development initiatives
* Experience working with major technology vendors, OEMs, or semiconductor/ecosystem partners
* Experience with data center cooling, liquid cooling, thermal management, or related technologies
* Strong knowledge of the data center industry and ecosystem
* Knowledge of thermal management components, valves, cooling systems, or related infrastructure technologies
* Strong analytical skills with experience evaluating market opportunities and product-market fit
* Excellent project management and facilitation skills
* Outstanding communication and presentation skills, including experience presenting to executive leadership
* Existing relationships within the data center industry, including hyperscalers, data center operators, manufacturers, or channel partners
* Ability to build relationship maps, engagement strategies, and account plans
* Ability to influence and collaborate across business and technical teams
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
