Test Engineer - Automotive Validation (Contract)Location: Raymond, OH
We are seeking a skilled
Test Engineer to support
automotive component testing and validation in a dynamic engineering environment. This temporary role is ideal for professionals with strong experience in
test engineering, product validation, and performance analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute test plans, procedures, and specifications for automotive components and systems
- Set up and configure test equipment, data parameters, and validation tools
- Perform component and system-level testing to ensure design feasibility and compliance with performance standards
- Analyze test data to identify defects, failure trends, and improvement opportunities
- Document results in technical reports and presentations, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Recommend design changes and corrective actions based on test outcomes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve product quality
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in test engineering, automotive validation, or product testing
- Strong knowledge of engineering principles, data analysis, and testing methodologies
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and technical reporting skills
Work Environment:
- Hands-on testing role requiring lifting (up to 50 lbs), standing, bending, and equipment operation
- Onsite work in a lab and testing environment
