Position Overview

PSA Architects is seeking a Senior Designer with strong AutoCAD experience and a background in commercial tenant improvement projects. This role focuses on producing high-quality architectural drawings and construction documents while coordinating closely with internal teams and consultants.

This position also offers the opportunity to grow into a Junior Project Management role over time.
Responsibilities
  • Prepare architectural drawings and layouts using AutoCAD
  • Develop construction documents and design packages
  • Support commercial tenant finish / tenant improvement projects
  • Coordinate drawings with MEP engineering systems
  • Assist with design documentation including floor plans, ceiling plans, elevations, and details
  • Ensure drawings align with brand standards for national clients
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers
  • Maintain documentation accuracy and quality across project phases

Growth Opportunity

This role provides a pathway toward Junior Project Management and increased project leadership responsibilities.

Requirements

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required (Architecture, Architectural Engineering, Interior Design, Engineering, or related field)
  • 3-5 years of experience in architecture or commercial design
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD
  • Knowledge of commercial tenant improvement projects
  • Understanding of construction documentation and MEP coordination
  • Experience working with national brand standards (fitness, retail, wellness) is a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
