Facilities Technician - Electronics Manufacturing The Facilities Technician - Electronics Manufacturing isresponsible for maintaining and supporting the facility systems andinfrastructure required for electronics production. This role ensures reliableoperation of utilities, environmental controls, and building systems thatdirectly impact product quality, equipment performance, and manufacturinguptime. The technician works closely with production, engineering, andmaintenance teams to support a safe, clean, and controlled manufacturingenvironment.

Job Summary - Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on facility systems supporting electronics manufacturing, including HVAC, electrical distribution, lighting, plumbing, and building infrastructure
- Maintain environmental controls critical to electronics production, such as temperature, humidity, air quality, and positive/negative pressure systems
- Support ESD-controlled areas by maintaining grounding systems, flooring, work surfaces, and facility grounding points
- Work closely with Operational Excellence personnel to ensure the maintenance program aligns with the lean deployment effort
- Maintain and troubleshoot facility utilities including compressed air, vacuum systems, nitrogen, DI water, and exhaust systems as applicable
- Conduct routine inspections of cleanrooms and production areas, and support spaces to ensure compliance with cleanliness and process requirements
- Respond promptly to facility issues that could impact SMT lines, PCB assembly, test areas, or sensitive electronic equipment
- Assist with facility modifications, equipment moves, and production line installations
- Coordinate with production and engineering teams to schedule maintenance with minimal disruption
- Manage work orders and preventative maintenance activities using a CMMS
- Monitor and support contractors performing facility or utility work in production areas
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, ESD, environmental, and internal safety standards
- Support emergency repairs and participate in on-call or off-shift support as required
Required Skills and Qualifications - Working knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC, mechanical systems, and general facility maintenance
- Understanding of ESD principles and the importance of environmental control in electronics manufacturing
- Ability to fulfill scheduled and unscheduled overtime requirements to maintain factory uptime
- Ability to read electrical schematics, equipment manuals, and facility drawings
- Strong safety awareness, including lockout/tagout and working around energized equipment
- Basic computer skills for CMMS, documentation, and communication
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including overtime or emergency calls
Preferred Qualifications- Technical certification or trade training in electrical, HVAC, or industrial maintenance
- Experience supporting SMT, PCB assembly, or manufacturing environments
- Familiarity with ISO, IPC, or ESD compliance standards
- Experience with compressed air, nitrogen, vacuum, or DI water systems
- Forklift, scissor lift, or boom lift certification
- EPA or HVAC certification
Required Experience and Education - HS Diploma or equivalent
- 3+ years of facilities or industrial maintenance experience, preferably in electronics or high-tech manufacturing

- May require shift work, weekends, or on-call support
