Sr. OKTA Identity And Access Management Consultant || Contract at New York

Looking for an experienced Senior Consultant with strong technical skills and experience in Python, API development, Terraform, PostgreSQL, GitLab and IAM (Preferable) or OKTA. The Senior Consultant will be responsible for providing technical guidance to the team and developing high-quality solutions. The ideal candidate should have excellent problem-solving skills, a passion for technology and be able to work independently as well as in a team environment. The Senior Consultant should also have strong communication skills and be able to collaborate with stakeholders, business partners and other technical teams. The ideal candidate should be able to quickly adapt to changing requirements and be up to date with the latest technologies and trends.

Requirement:

• Strong experience handling and driving client and client application teams
• Experience in Google Cloud Platform (preferable) or any cloud technology is a must
• Good understanding on workings of Kubernetes, terraform and docker
• Strong experience in building and containerizing RESTful API services ( python or java)
• Experience in onboarding applications into OKTA - preferable
• Good understanding of IAM concepts and hands on knowledge on OAuth and OIDC protocol
• Good understanding of Internet protocols HTTP/HTTPS
• Good understanding of HTTP methods for Restful web services
• Good understanding and work experience using Thread pool design concepts
• Services testing tools experience Rest WS (Postman, etc)
• Good understanding of Design Patterns
• Fair experience in managing JavaScript front-end applications either in react or angular
• Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills
• Hands-on experience across all phases of SDLC using agile methodologies
• Exposure of API integration
• Hands-on experience of working on Agile methodologies, Jira & Confluence, Agile dashboards
• Exposure to Continuous development and Continuous Integration (ANT, GitHub, Jenkins or similar)
• Minimum of 12+ years of experience in application design, development and support
