Data Analyst

Aptask Global Workforce (AGW) is seeking a Data Analyst for a contract position with a Global Biotechnology Company located in Pittsburgh, PA. This is a 6-month contract opportunity.

The successful applicant will provide support to the North American Pricing Team. This role involves email triage and assignment, price file review and uploading, and various projects to acquire current pricing from suppliers to ensure accurate information for our customers. The candidate will perform multifaceted and complex work, relying on previous experience and judgment to accomplish assigned tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain pricing inbox organization, assign ownership, and follow-up on emails
• Support customers, commercial teams, and purchasing teams in facilitating pricing accuracy and updates
• Ensure coordination of price updates between US and Canada regions
• Contact suppliers for current pricing and update cost/list information
• Collaborate with internal teams to plan and execute pricing requests
• Utilize pricing tools to conduct part, price, and attribute maintenance
• Create and maintain customer-specific pricing as required
• Develop and maintain macros within Excel and Access
• Process data and generate reports using Cognos
• Meet quantitative price file upload targets assigned by the manager
• Train new hires within the pricing group

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or 3+ years of equivalent work experience preferred
• 3+ years of experience in general business, pricing, or finance
• Ability to handle and resolve issues through phone or email
• Ability to effectively prioritize multiple projects and tasks to meet designated deadlines
• Attentiveness to accuracy and detail
• Ability to work independently as well as effectively in a team environment
• Excellent organization ability, analytical capacity, and attention to detail
• Strong customer service focus and conflict management skills
• Exceptional written, verbal, and listening communication skills
• Proficient knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications
• Ability to lead through ambiguous and/or stressful situations with integrity
• Adaptable to change and able to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Desired skills:

• Experience with Mainframe, AS400, AMPS, Cognos, PowerBI, and Smartsheets

Pay range: up to $28.00 per hour
